ABOUT US
TESOL International Mexico began at Instituto Jovel, in San Cristóbal de las Casas. Instituto Jovel has offered language instruction and has served as an intercultural center since 1993. Since then, we have offered Spanish, English and Maya Tsotsil and Tseltal language lessons to thousands of students. Over these years, our highly qualified and experienced team has trained teachers (of both English and Spanish) in modern teaching techniques and we have maintained a reputation for academic excellence, evidenced by our recognition by the Mexican Ministry of Education. TESOL International Mexico has participated regularly in language conferences at Mexican Universities.
